Jill Ackerman is an expert strategist creating and managing high-impact marketing plans for travel companies. With over 25 years experience, armed with outstanding team leadership, she develop plans to find customers, profile and segment them to speak to their needs, convert, and measure success with proven ability to drive results, coupled with a passion for creative solutions.
Before joining the PM Group she was with GTA/TravelBound as Head of Marketing for TravelBound, which is a wholesale supplier with a leading online booking engine for travel agents with responsibility for marketing hotels and services in over 170 countries in the US and Canada, including oversight of data analysis, competitive review, sales material for 25 BDMs, 17 consortia relationships, public relations, trade advertising, webinars and research.
Jill was also Director of Marketing at Lindblad Expeditions, providing strategic planning for the 20-person in-house marketing department, selling 20 experiential, soft-adventure destinations. She also had the responsibility to manage the 1.8 million consumer database and list selection for direct marketing efforts, print and digital advertising, research and the messaging strategy.
Her work experience includes tenure at Travel Impressions, Senior Director. Jill brings deep understanding to the challenges faced by both private and public sector because she served as South African Tourism, Marketing Manager.
