For over twenty years, Noel Mignott has designed and implemented high profile marketing communications campaigns for a variety of sectors within the travel and hospitality industry, including governments, airlines, hotels and restaurants.
In 2003, he launched The Portfolio Marketing Group (The PM Group/PMG), an internationally recognized full service marketing communications agency, specializing in breakthrough creative and branding campaigns for prominent foreign and domestic clients. Since it’s establishment and under his leadership the PM Group has created campaigns for a number of destinations including the island of Nevis, the islands of Antigua and Barbuda, the island of Anguilla, The Islands Of The Bahamas, as well as the Republic of South Africa. The PM Group, on behalf of South African Tourism, implemented the US campaign to promote the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ and the success of their work has been acclaimed by South Africa.
Prior to the launch of The PM Group, for over two decades Noel was the Deputy Director of Tourism for the island of Jamaica, with the responsibility for the development and management of their overseas marketing, including advertising, public relations and sales. Under his stewardship Jamaica’s tourism created many successful communications campaigns including the award winning television advertising ‘One Love’. He was also responsible for the creation and marketing of Bambou, the first upscale Caribbean restaurant in Manhattan.
Noel is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Order of Distinction from the Government of Jamaica, “for extraordinary service to Jamaica”; the Distinguished Alumnus Award by his alma mater Jamaica College; the International Achievement Award by the American Friends of Jamaica; the Male Personality of the Year by the Caribbean Voice newspaper; the Caribbean Travel Personality of the Year from Travel Agent Magazine; and the Caribbean Person of the Year from Caribbean Today newspaper, among others.
